Well its the specific style of Angel Dragon that was claimed. I mean there are tons of dragons with feathers out there! But they are many types of Angel Dragons so her idea of them and their backstory and such was what was claimed. Not so much the idea of feathered dragons.
But it was worth it cause my friend needed the points for an actual issue they were facing on this site. (Same thing you faced before)

Like I said, jus' my opinion. even though after looking at your friends favorites and stuff I already find them quite distasteful. but i'm more or less concerned about the increase of 'original species' that aren't quite original and takes away from people who legit make a living off making their own species and selling them. When I first joined I had a friend who did these things explain how it kinda works as far as money and the art world and she actually went out of business on here and fur affinity because people were selling appealing but not even original species for a ton of money so then people like her who spend months and months of designing something entirely unique get over looked because people tend to make original species of things that are already popular and appealing ex. wolves, dragons, and adding or taking away sparse amounts of attributes to make them 'different' that's all
Oh i see what you mean. I don't know all the stuff behind selling original species. I make all of my species things and such free because of the fact that someone can make something else that looks similar and thus it wouldn't be right to charge for something that isn't truly owned by one single person.
But these Angelic Dragons are only going to appear in this design as a subspecies of Light Dragon for my story. I won't be selling them. Just making them open to whoever wants to make a Angelic Dragon for my story. In my story Angelic Dragons look like this. But they only exist in my story. That way I don't take away from others who make species outside of my story. I don't plan on selling these angelic dragons like others would regularly sell them. I mean they are meant to relate to my story. Not to be used to be sold to the public.
Any point adopts I make will be dragon adopts not species adopts. I don't put prices on species or designs of species I make that way people can make them as they please and I won't be taking away from other artists who work hard on their own species. No one actually takes interest in my species stuff anyways
And believe it or not no one has really taken an interest in these guys besides close friends of mine who only made Angelic Dragon ocs for my story. That is as far as they have gotten. I plan to only use them for the story and not public purposes to specifically avoid messing with others. ^^ I hope you understand.

Oh ok, usually when someone says they've adopted it, it is through a purchase so i was under the impression they were being sold, not like i can tell people what they can and cant sell to begin with i was just putting my stance out there on the whole original species thing knowing what i know about the business of it. Sorry if i came off as harsh.
Oh its fine XD When I gave my friend points for these I had already planned not to sell them due to the fact that many other angel dragons exist for other stories and sales (such as the dutch angel dragons X3) and I didn't want to get in the way nor hurt their sales or make it look like I was leaching off them.
That is why any species I make are limited to use only in my story that way I avoid harming the profits of others. And also because I feel I cannot claim a single design or species when someone else can literally make something similar. Okies vwv and yeah like i said, ive seena couple really good artists who use the majority of the money they make of their species and other works have to pick up extra jobs outside of art because the lack of purchases or just all together leave the art for money business because it became too independable for reasons like i mentioned, one of them a friend who left da because she wasnt making money here anymore and she had pets and a family to help provide for. (Last i heard she found other work though so its not like they ended up starving or anything so im not trying to worry you or nothing)
