I think you are off to a strong start with all the stuff you have already made. Just keep drawing and painting from real life by using photos of places that are interesting to you. Art training is like training to be an airline pilot, it is how many hours total you have clocked studying whatever it is you want to build skill at.

Yeah, it's just the software I'm using reacts differently than the usual digital software, so it would be nice to learn how to blend better using Art Rage and how to use different functions to achieve certain effects.

Art Rage looks like a pretty cool software. I gave it a try. Every paint program has its quirks. They all try to mimic and combine qualities of the real physical stuff. Have you looked up tutorials?

yep, there are a few good ones and a few more not so good ones  The watercolor ones are nice though.  It's more a case of learning how to blend and using the tools to their full extent that I'm looking for.  I would love to learn how to do speed painting landscapes with it to use thing like sticker spray to make trees and birds.  Mainly for concept design work.  I have some references  to use, but it's a case of finding what works and making a clean finished design.
