Comment on Monkey King v Dragon King: Dawn of Heaven Ruin by indisMatterisM
I have to read Journey to the West. I know it has inspired a lot of manga and books, like Dragon Ball. Hell, my first thought was: "Why Goku is fighting against Shenron?" And this is not the One Star Dragon, is Shenron. But still, this looks amazing and I want to know how was the inspiration of one of most popular comics and tv shows of all time.
its really worth the read, just that i find it annoying that there is not yet an adaptation that can translate well all the epicness in this saga, those new movies from stephen chow have enough spectacles but the story is too different from the source material
