You're welcome. Unfortunately, I don't have the applet in question anymore - deleted everything SK-based even before 4.0 came out.

I am trying KDE4.3 (from svn) at the moment, plasma still crashes a lot when I am starting apps :/

There is always that risk when using the trunk.
With that said, I have absolutely no issues with the latest SVN. I can't even remember when was the last time Plasma crashed on me. Since you've mentioned starting apps, maybe Kickoff crashes and pulls Plasma with it?
I (with obvious reasons ) don't use it, so I don't know.
