Even though I have never read Bluebeard, just looking at these drawings I'm planning on checking it out.
It's kind of a horror story, but pretty cool. Not a typical fairytale. Or perhaps it is, just that history hasn't changed it for modern tastes and it's still somehow gorey XD
Closest thing I got to Blubeard was watching Crimson Peak...that house is literally to die for.
Oh god, that movie was so, so amazing. The house, the wardrobe, the story ooooh *o*
