Comment on Not tonight by cabroon
Honestly, I feel like Anna IS the protagonist and Elsa is her motivation, the thing that moves her. I'm reading the book that tells the story from Anna and Hans' point of view and it is quite interesting. With the movie, there is so much Anna time that I don't think Disney expected Elsa to be the main show for the majority.
All in all, I feel like Anna we've kind of seen before with Rapunzel. Not to say that Anna doesn't have her charming qualities, she does; she is an integral part of Elsa--Elsa wouldn't BE who she is without her and vice versa. To me, Elsa is just interesting with the obvious reasons of how she looks, what she can do, and I like her 'closed off victim' persona that she was all about in the beginning. Also, I like what Elsa could have been(a villain and all); she screams for so much fan interpretation.
Of course both personal preference on our parts, but that doesn't take anything away from your awesome art
