Hmmm.. have you tried desaturating part of the artwork in photoshop? That would make it even better looking and point your focus on one spot, almost how I did with the portrait. You can come back and add more color over the gray areas which will make it more organic. Actually never mind you do, but it's so subtle in all your art that I barely even notice, you good! <3
