Yea, that's the shame about fandoms. There is always drama and toxicity. The two fandoms I'm currently in, one has a small but incredibly toxic/vocal part of it, who get after people that ship the canon thing for being homophobic (aka, because their fanon same sex ship will never be a thing)... Let it be known that there are plenty LGBT people that ship the canon thing, and that there ARE ships of the same sex in the show. But naaaah, homophobics everywhere, man. It makes me sick xP and the other has self-entitled 'well known' artists/storytellers, a bunch of people who whine about wanting spoilers and whine when they do get the spoilers, shipping wars (did I mention the ships are actually the same two people? It's annoying), and the overall whining keeps me from enjoying the news |D
it's kind of sad, tbh, how every fandom starts to suck when you spend too much time in it. I just wanted to have fun xD buuut yea, I don't miss the TLK fandom either. Except maybe your universe, but not the actual current thing.
