I was never able to get anything that looked nearly this good in Apophysis; how long did it take you to design this? What version did you use?

Apo 15B. My params for the mandala will only work in the 3D hack and in 15B (NOT 64). In fact, every newer version of Apophysis breaks it. You can copy the params from here in my stash and play around with them:
