That's in the Lake District, (can't remember the name of the hill) near an Osprey lookout point. It looks out over Bassenthwaite lake where you can see they Ospreys fishing. Unfortunately it was way too far away to get any pictures though.
I just saw the light through the trees and the roots there, and thought it would make a perfect photo.
Fun fact: When I took the lake photo (Derwent water) there was a C-130 aircraft that flew over just after I took it. It's a military flying zone, so sometimes if you are on a mountain, you can be looking down on top of the aircraft as they fly by.

Neat. Though starting with UK would have helped.
