You're welcome I was thinking so, and no it's not the same, charcoal is.... well I'm not very good at explaining things but charcoal is black and super easy to smudge so that's why you should use blending stumps and stuff (but not your fingers because of the oils in your hands which leaves it looking weird, I found that out the hard way) hope that explanation was good enough to understand
