Frankly, Steven Universe, Gumball, OK Ko, and Adventure Time are the only things keeping Cartoon Network afloat, if you don't count Adult Swim of course.

Powerpuff Girls 2016 is a freaking let down, not to say that the original was without its faults, seasons 5 and 6 being the prime example of such faults, but at least it had passion and decent talent behind it, you know?
The reboot felt like it was farted out of the anus of soulless Hollywood analysts trying to cash in on the nostalgia of older viewers and hardly giving the newer generation anything besides reasons to watch the original show and make them hate their generation more.
Frankly, I like seeing fanfic recommendations from the Powerpuff's Tv Tropes page, at least they show that people still like the original enough to make new stories that could easily dwarf anything Cartoon Network could make.
