Yes, the climate is too hot and wet. And there are a lot of insects, they would scare me a lot :) But it's still beautiful! And I agree with other comments, there really is some Avatar feel :)

That part of the world is definitely a place where I prefer to watch documentaries about instead of actually going there. My health wouldn't take the heat and humidity well. Huge scary insects would add up to the discomfort, too. :)
But Predators seem to like the heat a lot. So the Amazonian jungle is a great place for them. :)
I love Avatar. It's one of James Cameron's masterpieces, and I hope that he'll finally make that sequel he's been talking about for years.

And there are anacondas Oops! But probably it´s not something to be afraid of for Xenos and Predators :)
Avatar is one of the most beautiful films that I have ever seen. And it doesn´t leave a sad feeling after watching it. I love the LOTR and The Hobbit movies, but they make me feel sorry for so many characters, that´s the reason why I prefer fanfiction :D Not so with Avatar. It gave just warm feels and a wish to be able to visit that planet :) Maybe it´s because I watched it only once and forgot many details Sweating a little... But I loved it :)

I'm sure in the Amazonian forests are a lot of creatures that would kill me just so. Even the vegetation seems to be somewhat dangerous.
But Xenos and Preds are much more likely to survive in such surroundings.

Avatar is an amazing movie, but it did leave some sadness in me, to be honest. For one, there was this Colonel Quaritch who wanted to kill all the Na'vi (and almost succeeded). I hate that guy. He's among the worst human beings ever. The sort of guy who wants to destroy everything for the sake of making profit or just for the sake of being an asshole.
And second, I was very disappointed when Dr Augustine died, because I really liked her. Sigourney Weaver was brilliant in that role and I'd have loved to see her in a sequel.

Spiders would be the worst for me. The big hairy ones Sweating a little... But I have a suspicion that Xenos would be able to eat them if they really wanted. Can they eat insects? That would be a really useful skill. I remember a documentary about a man who got lost in jungle and survived because he was able to eat worms and once shot a monkey. Not an appetizing menu, but really unbeatable for survival it seems.
Yes, Colonel Quaritch was evil. Trying to destroy the whole planet just to achieve his personal aims... And poor Dr. Augustine, she helped Jake and Neytiri so much (I admit that I forgot the princess´ name and had to google it Sweating a little...). I loved the idea of her school abd wish she survived as an Avatar... There have been so many rumours about the sequel. Hopefully James Cameron will make it Nod Agree, there were many sad moments. But it´s one of the films that left a very warm impression on me. I need to watch it again :) (Smile)
