thanks a lot ! I was thinking about buying it... I dont give a shit about animations, but from what I heard the story, dialoges and characters arent that good. Reviews say its similar to Dragon Age 3, which I didnt really like. What is your opinion?

well, it is quite similar to Dragon Age Inquisition to be honest. If you didn't like that at all, maybe it's not for you.
I'm about 10-15 hours into the game so I haven't seen it all yet, but so far I don't think the story and characters are bad. Each character is very special in it's own way and you have lots of dialogue options with them as in the other games. You can even log into a computer and read chat logs of the NPCs with each other; they are quite hillarious. The game has so many details built into the world where you can learn more of you want to. The story so far is all about discovery - maybe not mindblowing but I think it's well done; what I love is that it's completely alien, so many elements are quite different from the previous ME worlds which made it very interesting for me. So far I loved the epicness of the first two planets, while the ice planet was somewhat annoying.
Overall, it's certainly not bioware's best game but neither their worst as many claim it to be. Most of the time while playing I'm thinking " are these people crazy? It's nowhere near as bad as they say". :D And let's be honest, the side quests in ME1 were pretty horrible too.

I uninstalled Dragon Age 3 after several hours, it just seemed pointless with gathering all those resources around the world to craft something I didnt even know I need. I know I didnt have to do it, but when I play a game I kind of want to do everything, maybe not 100%, but it would just seem like a missed opportunity not to gather this iron, this wood etc :) and with Andromeda it looks pretty much the same with that scanning... Also throughout the time I played I somehow didnt feel motivated to finish the game, the story and characters didnt get my attention. Perhaps it wasnt a bad game, perhaps I am just old for gaming or something :D Though I play Overwatch and FIFA now :o (Eek)  I saw couple of screenshots from Andromeda and the worlds seem truly amazing, also I dont believe it is that bad as reviews are saying. Perhaps I will buy it one day when the price is lower :) and thank you for typing this! :)

IMO the scanning was annoying in each of the mass effect games. For some reason they decided to combine all of the most boring aspects of scanning of each game to one new giant boring scanning feature in Andromeda. At least the crafted weapons and armor are quite useful.
It's true that the story/gameplay of the previous ME games was very dense, which made them feel more entertaining. On the other hand you could finish the games within 20 hours, including some side quests, which a lot of people complained about. In Andromeda the story proceeds slowly, but after 20 hours you're only at 1/3 of the game. I guess you really can't satisfy everyone...
I also planned to wait until the price drops, but in the end I was too curious to wait haha. :XD:
