Oh what a beauty of a bird. Yes indeed.
They are magnificent, this one was watching me as I tracked it. I was up the top of one of the higher peaks in this area, on the edge of a cliff that dropped off a significant distance...

was shot from the same location 
it's about 1600m above sea level here...our highest mountain is only 2200m (but that is quite a few hours south of where this is)... we occasionally get snow up here, even though it is close to the coast. It takes about 2 hours to drive here from where I live, then a further few hours of walking to reach the summit.

It's a pretty nice spot, there's also a big swamp up there and some waterfalls and other good stuff. Although it would be getting considerably cooler up there now.
