Great job but his weapons are in the wrong hands :P

Have you seen the Overwatch comic that has the Blackwatch Genji skin? It had him with a throwing star in his left hand. 😿

Right. I just know in game he generates his shaken or "shuriken" are generated out of his cyborg hand from within. That was my point. He could of course transfer them to the other hand. A bit of random information: Shuriken literally means "blade hidden within hand" and the Ninja who used such weaponry also prioritized spreading overly-fantastic lore about themselves to psychologically effect opponents and spread the idea that they literally generated them out of their hands from thin-air (such as Genji does). :)

Right. So technically is it "wrong" that he has his throwing stars in his left hand, or just personal opinion?? 😑

He fights with his sword in his right hand. But to make the pic more interesting, and not have an empty left hand I figured he could somehow manage getting stars in his left hand. I try not to limit my illustrations based on those kinds of things. He is after all a Samurai type warrior. Lol

I totally get what you're saying, and it is your illustration and your perception of the character that you created on paper. I myself am a stickler for those things when I am creating renderings of preexisting characters but that's my opinion and certainly not a rule. I love the piece don't get me wrong I'm just a detail fanatic and also a Genji main, I'm obsessed with him lol (and that skin is my favorite). Also for a bit of clarification Hanzo is the Samurai and Genji is Nenpo/Ninjitsu. Samurai also use both hands on a sword, as does Genji when using his Ultimate. Except for the famous Miyamoto Musashi. Anyways, enough of the rant. You've sparked my interest to draw Genji with this skin. :) Again, great job and keep it up!
