To be honest, they were obnoxious in aLBW because of their unfathomable amount of health. In BotW, it's a miniboss unto itself; ramming attacks, sword barrages, enormous fire breath, and occasionally an onslaught of elemental arrows. They're actually one of the most thrilling parts of the game, but if you haven't gotten the hang of the controls, you're gonna get your butt handed to ya.
On the other hand... someone's killed one of these guys barehanded, no items, with a ROCK. XD

Yah people figure out lots of ways to beat the game with practically nothing too haha! There's always the extremes. But for the casual player like myself, they are a fun challenge. And even if you do get into a rhythm of beating them, one slip up, and you're toast! Haha!
