Yep, i noticed that too, even if i'm not really convinced this rules out feathers for Rexy (and other tyrannosaurids, for that matter) 
No it really doesn't especially when Fezraptor pointed out where these scale imprints where. Sure it was more scaly, but only ever so slightly. Don't get me started on the sensationalism media coverage.....
