What does a sociology major know about economic systems?

As to '200 species' going extinct every day: As I mentioned to someone I am 'arguing' with, IF those are even happening the vast majority of them are probably bacteria which only exist in micro-environments. I also note that several species which were declared extinct have since resurfaced.

Well Economics is a subcategory of Sociology. So technically all Economists are Sociologists. Although the reverse cannot be said.
