Yeah, many of my favourite cartoonists draw (or drew) the mouth placed like that on the simplified head anatomy, or just with a ball shape as the head, I really love it so I'm chasing a similar (but own) style like that when I'm drawing non-specific faces. It's really hard to decide what to go for, for example Edmond Kiraz draws really long chins, and that looks great too.

Btw. some of my favourite art stuff is from Italy, like "Italo disco" (Italian 80s synthpop) and some of the Italian Disney artists, like Giorgio Cavazzano!

Every time i see something drawn by him i remain totally impressed by his talent as cartoonist, so personal, yep a real talent!

Yeah, I guess he's probably the best known Italian Disney artist at this point of time. I love his joyful drawing and inking in the 70s and his strong graphical style from the 80s forward
