It's being disassembled by the Starfleet Corp of Engineers.

Any clue as to what happened to her saucer section after it was disassembled???????????

Components would be sent to various shipyards and starbases.

She was scrapped, wasn't she????????

There's no canon answer since it was never mentioned in any officially published encyclopedia/magazine or in the series and films. I would assume the Enterprise-D was scrapped and the useful components would be reused in other starships. The Veridian III landscape would be restored to previous condition.

Her saucer section was still in good shape. Her saucer section could of been repaired and construct a new secondary hull. Then Enterprise-D could continue her service with Star Fleet.

In Generations, Picard's captain's log read- "...but the Enterprise herself cannot be salvaged." Meaning there was enough structural damage to the saucer that it is unable to be repaired and reused on another stardrive. However, the top half still had some reusable components to be used in other starships and stations. The lower 25% is a scratched up, mangled mess.
