She was written to be a villain in the story she's in yea! her past was bright, honestly, but her ambitions twisted her mind
Very sympathetic feel for the character. Like villains, are not just some evil for the hero to fight.

YEA I'm always for the whole-- the villain was just doing good but in their own kinda way ?? if that makes sense
its like how in shadow of the colossus you start as the good guy but then throughout the game you actually turn into the villain and you start thinking about your actions and stuff
something like that in the end is the kind of vibe I try to go for with this girl
Right now, she doesn't have any sort of redemption planned, but she just wants to get what was promised to her and will go to hell and back to get it

Sometimes a redemption is not the best if what they're doing is not inherently evil, while other times it shows readers that a villain is just a person and not a monster.
Like my character, Francis is really nice and even somewhat heroic in his actions. His one flaw is he's stuck in a war that's been over for years. leading him to make a lot of enemies out of those not on the "right side" of said war.
