Hello, I love this cover and your colors are amazing! I am interested to learn how to make comics and improve my artwork. If you can just answer a question of mine I would be grateful. Out of curiosity why is Donatello almost blacked out compared to his brothers? This is an honest to goodness question because I am going to try my first fan comic and I want to understand as much as possible. Thank you for your time.
Hi, I didn't draw the piece, I just colored it.
But I can tell you that when you black out a character that way it's usually because there is supposed to be a bright light source behind him. So you only see rim lighting around the character while the rest remains dark.

Oh! I see it now! He's the last one out of the portal so the portal light is behind him.
I usually draw my light sources in the upper left or right so I never considered other angles.
Now, I understand what I should study and train my eye more.
