I have never heard of that! But - they do look quite good, and in my eyes some already have a nice amount of details. Maybe you could try working on them when the seeds have dried? Could be that they are more suitable then for finer details, though I'm not sure if your lino carving tools will be sufficient then (but shouldn't lino-tools also be sufficient for woodcarvings? I have something like that in my mind, but I'm not sure).
