HAHAHA I love you Tina. Is difficult to find another person so crazy about super robots!!
I know some of these series. GoBots arrived to spain just on Video tape, so the impact was much lesser than TF. The toys arrived on their original japanese brand, Bandai´s Machine Robo.
Here in Spain, cause of the parental rage against Mazinger Z violence (yeah, thats True...) the national TV channels decided not to include super robot shows during more than 10 years. We watched Robotech and some of the TF series in the 90s, when the first private TV began to work.
For that reason , we just know few series, from all the big genre that´s in japan. Only Evangelion caused some new impact. And Gundam or Patlabor are almost unknown here.
I´m in love with super robots since Mazinger, and the Transformers phenomenon hit me really deep, thanks to te toys and the marvel comic series
I know a bit Jay Decker and find so cute too. Thats one of the Brave Series that Takara produced in the 90´s when all TF brand was substituted by Beast Wars. The last one was GaoGaigar I think. After that, Takara started again to produce TF toys when createdthe Car Robots (Robots in Disguise) series in the 2000. (sorry, sometimes I seem like a sort of walking database XDD) I like soo much the designs of the Brave Series and Car Robots.

Well you and I grew up around almost the same time in Europe.
I still remember mom smuggled in a Transformer for me from Germany (it was Sludge the Dinobot).

it's a G1 continuity and takes place after the Autobot-Decepticon war, it's really REALLY fantastic.
