What you seem to be unaware of is that I'm criticizing the super hero, not the Norse God.
If you look at the Thor from Norse mythology, then comparing him to the super hero, the contrast is ridiculous.

Well it's isn't a huge difference between the mythology and the movie. I don't think people would like the movie if he didn't have armor and didn't look like a hero. I mean, at least he doesnt have clothes similar to the rest of the marvel heroes.
I like the movie, though I prefer the real version, but the appearance fits in the movie, at least that's my opinion.
