Oh I know. I never nuzlocked as a kid, but when I first got Gold, and Silver, I soloed the Elite Four, and Lance both times with one Crobat. So I know how lethal they are.
Let me guess, you had Confuse Ray, Wing Attack, Toxic and Bite on him.
Wing attack for sure, I think bite, and I never use confuse ray. As for Toxic, strong possibility, but I can't remember back 17-18 years.
Really? Confuse ray is one of my all time favourite moves. But to each their own I guess
