Perhaps, but since he's the tough type, he would be careful not to show his weakness or let anyone near Esther. Just imagine the things he would do if he found out someone is threatening or harassing her O_O

I guess its the aura around him that makes everyone fear him whenever he approaches an individual or even their own kind, though I wonder if Esther would slowly warm up to him just like he would soften whenever he's around her?
I think she would tottally move out of her comfort zone when he is around. By this I mean she would talk more, and not just sit in the corner like a doll. Also she would try to act more adult when he is near.
Also I was wondering about how would Rainer react if he ever finds Esther sleeping on his bed, snuggling to his pillow while sleeping? XD

He wouldn't know how to react at first, since its his first time coming across this situation, so he'd just awkwardly pat her back while making sure he doesn't wake her~
