Its the same deal with me. When I draw Bendy, people look at what I draw and assume that I am depressed or I am dark. One of my friends were watching me draw Bendy and a prep girl walked up to my friend and said "Leave the emo kid alone, he might shed darkness on you". I ended up going to ISS for my mouth that day.
