Brit was probably the smartest of the survivors, she caught on to John's hint as early as The Collars. Really sucks she wasn't in Saw 3D alongside with Mallick. 
I heard there were plans to have her in Saw 3D, but they couldn't get Julie Benz to appear in the film. I also thought Charles had good potential to be a smart character, but he let his own arrogance and selfishness overtake him. Too bad he realized this at the last second.

Yep, but the actors/actresses schedules were full at the time of filming.

I was glad they got Simone back, though. She was one of my favorites. You think Malick would join in on her rage at Cindy during the meeting since both lost their arms? If Brit was there she'd probably have her arm casted like Malick's.
Whilst Brit and Mallick both got their arms sawn in half, they didn't completely lose them. Plus, Mallick seemed a lot meeker in this film after his ordeal, (quitting drugs probably helped too) while Simone was more than happy to voice her opinion since she only became more bitter after hers. But, Brit would definitely have her arm in a large cast just like Mallick. I might be mistaken about this, but I think I read somewhere that she's doing well and managed to find a good, honest job.
Maybe Malick so moody cause he thought he was going to have a thing with her.
