ah, this is a question for theRainbowOverlord since she created the original lantern mutant - can the face of the jack-o-lantern be changed?

Umm, I hadn't thought of that... I guess the face could changed if it's ok with StargazerSammie and AriaThordia. All the other lanterns aren't organic so it wasn't really a concern with them. 
maybe if the lines dont go to overdetailed

ah you mean it only should change when bred with some other mutant that has specific "facial features", too, like the venus fly trap tail? that would make sense, also the part about an admin pre-making some faces for everyone to use, especially when comparing this case to how we handled this topic with other mutants.

To make things clear - the current face of pumpkin lantern is very pretty, but isn't suitable for any occassion (isn't all-purpose), looks like thing only for Halloween or pre-Halloween (my point of view can be subjective, because Halloween tradition is new in my country and isn't very expanded, so I don't know too much about Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins 
). So, if You guys prefer some admin-made face expressions, I have some suggestions. 1) alternative pumpkin face without teeth (simple smile or simple sad expression) looking a little bit like emoticons, 2) no face but simple shapes as - circle with visible candle, cross, diamond, heart etc. 3) tribal-like, more complicated shapes (butterfly, angel, mask, etc.) What do You all think? mouldyCat AriaThordia theRainbowOverlord StargazerSammie
