Shame because while I vastly prefer her old spandex costume, I can respect that the creative team sticking to their guns with the direction they were taking Jessica as a Sex in the City super-heroine with romance and body issues though I feel Empowered did everything better.

I enjoyed the romance aspect and the story line myself.  Just hated that outfit. :/  I probably could've done without her having a baby too, but neither that or the outfit were a deal breaker for me.
Agreed.  I still roll my eyes over how the internet reacted over that cover.  It still baffles me that I even saw a news report about it on CNN.  Regardless of your opinion of it, a comic cover should never be discussed on a major news network.

While I can respect them sticking with the direction the new creative team took Jessica on, it's not what I want.  My preferred view of Jessica will be the sexy super-heroine/spy who uses her pheromones to make people like her to mask her rampant insecurity (basically how Bendis wrote her on his New Avengers run).

I would've liked to have seen her take on a Spider-Man type, city hero story line for awhile :)   Which could still have had that aspect of her.  I'm hoping they bring her comic back.
