All lights and shadows are on different layers. The major shadows with the terminator line were basically drawn solid first and then smoothed using watercolor brush settings.

Does watercolor blending apply to highlights as well? And do you color your outline a few shades darker than the fur color?

Sometimes, it all depends on how hard or soft I want the light to come across.

And yes, usually for these pieces I will recolor the black ink lines to match the color of the edge they touch, except be some shades darker. And in this case, the outermost edges of the characters are the darkest.

I feel like my art isn't going to appeal to a furry audience or an average audience. Furries because it's not cutesy, fetishy or pornographic, and not with average people because it's furries. And it really sucks because I want to make something with a furry audience in mind,so what can I do to make my art more well known like yours?

To be honest, I never really attracted all that much attention until I started making my comics.

I want to make digital comics, what's your process and programs you recommend for formatting panels and dialogue boxes

I'm currently using Clip Studio Paint. It has options for creating panels and dialogue balloons built right in.

Let me be frank, i'm very worried that i'm never going to take off in the community. A lot of furries have interest in either pornographic, hyper-cute, and fetish fuel art, but yet you managed to become very respected in the community, I feel that no one is going to show an interest in my work because of that, what can I do to become more recognized?
