Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but... if you're married to a Canadian citizen(which I'm assuming Alexx is), why the hell do you have to move back to England!?
I thought marriage automatically gave you the right to stay in whatever country your spouse is native to!

Permanent residency isn't automatic. It takes 12 months to process. We got married in August and my current visa expires in March. So I tried to get a visa that processes in 6 months instead, but every time I tried to take a step forward, I discovered another step that added months to the time it takes. Marriage gives you more options, but it doesn't guarantee jack shit.
A shame.
