The Matriarch is back with her(?) nice skin textures, and fantastic manicure and pedicure. Colors on the tail is very nice too; must be some sort of thermoregulation? Could double as an aquatic propeller? (Make up for losing wings.) Could triple as some anti-predator signaling? The list of theories goes on. The same goes for there being more than one matriarch. Cloning? Surely these things cannot be reproduced so easily? The plot thickens.

Heheh well you’re on the right track with some of these theories, thermoregulation’s a neat idea, and the aquatic tail’s a bit of a glimps into the future.
