So, ten days left AND I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED. *dies* I want to start, but first I need to finish the first step-to collect the supplies. I was wondering where you got yours. I checked online at Michaels, and they don't have anything. Any suggestions?

Find a florist near you. Ask for the ribbon (they MAY charge a buck or two) and a couple of floral wires. Sincerely, they go through that stuff like CRAZY! You just need maybe 15.
As for the paper- you need an art store or a craft store- more specialized than Micheal's. There are LOTS of craft paper places online too! One that I have used has unbelievably fast shipping! Crap... what was the name of it?! AH! There it is! Creative Papers Online. They are FABULOUS!

Sorry to keep bothering you, but I need some more info-
By rag paper, do you mean this?

But size is 22 inches by 30 inches-I can trim the 22, but what do you suggest doing for the missing half-inch on the 30 inch long side?

Butcher paper I read is those huge pieces of paper in rolls. My school has it, so I can use it from there. But to make sure, the paper isn't very sturdy or stiff right?

And the white stiff paper, would it be okay to use poster board paper?

I might be replying to you for a while as I get this made, so please have some patience and don't get annoyed.

I think that sheet size should be fine. As long as you are careful, you should be able to get the entire Howler out of it, but if you can afford it a spare sheet (just in case) it might be handy.

Butcher paper is NOT recommended for the final. I used it as the base only!

Poster board paper would be TOO stiff- try thinking about like sketchbook paper. Not THAT thick, but thicker than copy paper. You don't want the letter to be like tissue paper in there. It needs to hold it's own.

I am here if you need me.

So the butcher paper is the white paper in the tutorial, the rag paper is the red, and the stiff-ish is the letter? Got it. It's all becoming clearer. Would I be able to find the letter paper in maybe Staples?

Do you have a sketchbook? I just tore a sheet out of that. Michael's would have something before Staples would.

k then. I'll probably buy the paper today.

Thanks. I'll check that out. Geez, this is really stressing me out. I do this every year. I told myself I'll start a month before....as you see, that hasn't exactly happened...

yeah. Well once you have all the stuff, it shouldn't take you more than a couple of hours. I did it in eight with NO instructions!
