Thanks! What is being called the bronze age today is what we were calling the late silver age back in the late 80s. But yes that is exactly what I was going for with this piece.
Now that's an interesting spin on the Ages! It certainly feels like the late Silver Age since there was still that innocence and goodness in a bunch of those stories, up til the Crisis, Dark Knight Returns, and Watchmen of course.
For years I considered the Crisis on Infinite Earths the end of the Silver age...
