Another divine obscurity, brought to you by King Obscure himself XD Well between you and one other guy on here at least :P

Simply adorably, with a comfortable pose and a rather relaxing background. Feels like I'm coming to her for some kind of advice XD Very damn cute indeed! Also curious about your other project now ;3

Indeed, my brother! :D

I'm glad that you're fond of the details! That background took some work, but I think I got as much as the reference I had right and hopefully anyone familiar with the game can kinda recognize it! If you play emulators, the game is patched to English now: www.seiyuu.info/wpj2/

You're still growing as an artist and it shows ;D

Oh I see, so its like some kinda adventure point and click thing?

Thanks, I hope I can keep it up! The game is what you can call a "raising simulation"... kinda like Idol Master, The Sims or Tomodachi Life (to name a few), you have not to control Josette, but interact with her in order for her to learn new things and get accustomed to human interactions so she can advance the plot.

I have all the faith in the world~ ;D
Ahhh I see. What was this released on originally?

The first game existed on the Super Famicom and the sequel (where Josette appears) is on the N64. It was one of the last projects of this particular developer before folding. Somehow it gained a following and someone went lengths to translate it fully to English!

Updated forms of the game (with FMVs and voice acting) were to exist on PlayStation and mobiles, but the company died before it could do anything more to it and I can't confirm (no matter how hard I search) that the game actually went mobile at all (but news site reporting that it would eventually). So, if you want to enjoy both games: you'll either have to emulate or buy reproduction cartridges. Both physicial copies can be unofficially bought at Etsy. ;)

You really do like the most obscure mediums out there XD You're giving props to the underrated gems, but wow I actually thought I had obscure tastes :P

Its a nice looking little game, might give it a try when I don't have a billion other games to play

You can't go more obscure than me. :lmao: Even among my friends, I'm still well acquainted with a lot of old school games.

During the late 90s (at the start of the emulation scene) I was a junkie of downloading and collecting all the games I didn't play on my younger years with consoles and I basically ended up getting intimate with a lot games and some so obscure that pretty much no one who didn't dip its toes into other something that the mainstream wouldn't even know. As of late, I probably rolled my fingers at mostly all the NES/SNES/GB/MS/GENESIS catalogue I could get my hands on (not on existence, that would be too much) and played from the mainstream to the obscure.

I think I've done a bit of obscure girls now and in the past, but it is probably just the tip of the iceberg of what I could actually do!

This could be probably one of those examples. We all know Maki (FF is mainstream as it gets), but not Rosa, which comes from a fairly obscure beat 'em up that most of my commenters didn't even knew it existed.
