hold up. This is actually what the rest of the monster looked like? I only know it from that awesome Basil Gogo's Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine cover. Don't think I ever saw the movie tho. Man I love that cover tho. And this is great either way.
Yes, he hugs you with his plant ribs and sucks you to death (I guess). I saw this movie a looong time ago, in the shape of a pretty crappy VHS copy. I wasn't too impressed then, but revisiting it in later years, it's actually grown on me. There's lots of crazy stuff in it, from giant man-eating plants to circus freaks.
