Man, that bird must have had some balls!
I don't know whether it wouldn't regret eating some meat of this snake, though. If it is able causing nausea even in a leopard seal, chances are a bird won't be able to stomach it either (though again, i can't tell because i simply don't know).
Well, I did some research and that bird happened to be a Broad-Winged Hawk (Buteo Platypterus).
It was there in Tamarindo, Costa Rica because of the winter in the northern hemisphere.
According to the websites I have visited, it has the habit of skinning frogs and snakes before eating them.
