I think this is only the second piece of Snape-and-his-Patronus fan art that I really like... Snape's expression is great. To me, he looks sort of surprised, and resentful but not in a bad way - remorseful but used to it. I'm so bad at explaining. Like, his Patronus probably always was the doe, but since Lily's death it probably pains him as much as it drives the Dementors away... and now he's an old(er) guy and used to that little pang his own Patronus always gives him. I suppose it's just me reading this into Snape, but it's what I see in this picture.

thank you, I'm really glad and honoured that you like it. Here, I wanted him resigned , accepting his patronus, even with a hint of tenderness. I think that is not easy for him to have this patronus, and this love - like a knight, fire in his heart burning it; but in the same time the doe helps him and he accepts it with this mixte of affection and stoicism. Well, you give me a great pleasure - you can see it!
