Hah, exactly! Would be nice seeing more small D&D elves (as opposed to Tolkien's elves that apparently shape everyone's perception).
I'll admit armor does add to the bulkiness, and one could argue that Drizzt illustration from 5E PHB would actually be accurate Drizzt if he had no armor on. :')
OH??? I have yet to see any 5E art, let alone Drizzt stuff! And yeah definitely. I mean I know that there are tons of different kinds, but it seems like people tend to forget the others and only remember the tall, Tolkien kind of Elf. Not the wilder wood elves, or the shorter Drow elves, or the Moon elves or the ifuergheriguh. LMAO. I mean I myself have a couple taller Drow (father and son), but that's because they're werewolves and the strain of lycanthropy they have made them taller. They used to be much shorter beforehand (the son's sister did not become a lycan so she's still short)~
