you are very welcome! I'll tell you it was hard to keep this one on the DL I didn't want you or Tama to even get a whiff of this until I was not only satisfied with the ocean, but had this thing complete!
I wanted the atmosphere to come off as serene but joyous, the bright colors do add life to the piece and, to be completely honest, changed the entire way I colored and rendered the rest of the image. This piece, is an utter contrast to what my mood had been and it was very therapeutic to work on it, the expressions and colors did bring peace of mind to me while dealing with Bear and his seeming impending doom. But, all did work out in the end! My relief of a successful outcome is etched in this picture and I'm happy you and Tama do enjoy this piece as much as I do!
I can offer some pointers and tutorials in my next stream, if you would like to see my process on backgrounds I plan to be doing one if not this weekend then in the next few weeks.
I've been toying with the idea of also doing a video process/speed paint tutorial on backgrounds and some studies on water since I very much do enjoy painting them
