weird, did you clear dllcache?
i didn't want to because I thought it'd mess yo the system. However, I did delete the original file from dllcache but that didn't work either.

Try reinstalling, make sure the new wmm2res.dll stays in that folder.
Reinstall Movie Maker? Okay.
