And even if he feels that way, he should talk to her about it politely, instead of saying something like "Your medication is expensive, do you want me to just take that away?"
THAT is never okay. there's a huge difference between buying a necessary drug for someone's health, and throwing away money for a few pretty rocks. Like, I get it, being romantic or whatever, but the second you compare a *need* to a *luxury*, and then threaten to take away the needed item? that's crossing the line into the zones of abuse. That kangaroo is a complete a--hat.
