I have played till i've beaten the first boss (cyclop) and stopped in the cavern right at the first premium dungeon here's my opinion so far:

I really enjoy the gameplay so far, the new cooldown system is on point, it makes you understand that a skill is powerful and important so you have to use it when it's really necessary, it adds tactics to the game a great addition. I love the fact that you can capture foes and use them as summons, it's probably the feature that i enjoy the most. It also increases the longevity of the game. The graphics are lovely, they feel very polished, the soundtrack is awesome as always and the new sound effects fit in nicely.

My opinion is that everyone that enjoyed EBF4 will LOVE EBF5, so the game will most likely sell very well. While the game itself doesn't add anything new to the genre it occupies a nice niche of old style jpn rpg that many people still enjoy therefor i believe it will be a financial success.

Congratulations Matt :)

P.s. It's not really a bug but when i go to the summon list i have to refresh the criteria to apply them to the newest additions, EXAMPLE: I have a bush and a bat summons they are listed with increasing SP cost the first costs 10SP the latter 15SP. I capture a new foe that costs 5SP but instead of appearing first in the list it appears last until i put another criteria and select back the incresing sp point filter.

PPS Sorry for the bad english :)
