Congrats! Looking forward to seeing what the computer is.

Do you have your Daz stuff on an external drive? If so, then maybe this might help, even though I'll bet the OS isn't right: Tutorialesque: PostgreSQL and DAZ Install vs YOU

Nah, of course not. Why would I do anything sensible, like have an external drive? It's all internal. Some stuff made the move from Windows 7 to 10 just fine, although it's hard as hell to find now. But others... like Studio and DIM... are being all obnoxious about it.

Well, let me know if there's anything I might be able to help with. And enjoy your new computer after you get everything set up!

I think this new computer has an evil sense of humor. Not only did it try to scare me to death by initially acting like it wouldn't work, doing the same thing it did with the processor it returned, it decided Daz should work after all. or :dunno: Whatever. Don't know, don't care, the system's nice enough it's allowed to have a few quirks. Not to mention I ran across something claiming this processor has a neural network of some sort...

What processor do you have?

At least everything is working now ...?

Yeah, so far working good, although still doing the massive reinstallation of many, many things that didn't switch OS without spazzing. And I went for the gold, since I'll be making payments forever anyway: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X. It's amazing! Love
