Bran's fiery nature was more than a little apparent. But, alongside that deep loyalty, his reverence for dragons was made clear through his actions. He was loving and passionate, even if he could show a nasty streak. He was dedicated to his work and--more than anything else--he was intuitive. This intuition dominated all of his interactions, attracting the attention of more than a few Wind dragons.

The ability to recognize the views of others and successfully mediate was their domain, after all. While they would have been happy to claim him as their own, this same intuition of theirs realized he was much more suited to another purpose. A purpose higher than wings could ever take him lay ahead. Perhaps he would raise one of their hatchlings in time, but for now, they knew which egg he needed...and it wasn't theirs.
