Me dear fellow artist, you said and explained absolutely everything I could write now. I use exactly the same arguments while disacussing such "delicate" issue. When you talk about museums, you summarize it all: this mature content is there, so anyone can see it. When I was a child I went to lots of museums and exhibitions and nothing bad happened. I grew up and learned that certain things are natural and only this. People seem to create "storms in glasses of water", as we say here (it means "turning a tiny thing into a huge problem").
It's interesting what you said about your country. It's something I see people commenting on very often, and I find it very normal. I was discussing it with a friend who went there a couple of months ago and was a bit shocked with certain behaviors that seemed normal to me (or at least did not seems too bizarre). Well, I live in Brazil, and things are pretty crazy here. Brazilians are more conservative than most people imagine, I must tell you. Specially now! If you see anything about Brazilian politics now you will know what I mean. Talking about this is not a good idea sometimes. Sad, right? At least I have not such problems in my family
But you are totally right! Saying there's something sexual about your photo makes no sense, for example. There's something funny and strange about it, but only this. Well, I particularly see nothing so "disturbing and shocking" . These many filters for mature content drive me crazy sometimes too. Sometimes I ask my friends if they see something "inappropriate" in a work of mine before I submit it just to be sure I'm not ignoring something in it. It's difficult when we know there's nothing "wrong" with it and some people stil think there is... Anyway, we try to do our best XD

Actually we don't get too much news about foreign politics, except then it affects eu somewhat. Or maybe i'm just trying to be as far from politics as i can
it's just i don't want to offend anyone with my art by 'making' people see it. So the filter on its own is a good idea. BUT i think it doesn't work properly

I just won't talk about it here because it's not the proper place to do so, don't worry. It was only part of my argumentation I myself try to avoid politics as much as possible, but now we can't run from it here :/ But we are always making jokes about those serious issues, so it all does not look so bad sometimes XD
