I felt really sad when I saw this! And I got a bit worried about you. "Call off the search" when the female in the water is so close to being found! And the search party just gave up! But then I saw the description underneath and it didn't feel so heart crushing. 

Congrats on not needing the ward for two years. That's impressive!
